40 BELOW SUMMER Recording Sophomore Album
June 22, 200340 BELOW SUMMER have entered Mirror Image Recordings in New York City with producer David Bendeth (VERTICAL HORIZON, CRASH TEST DUMMIES) to record their sophomore album, due in the fall through Razor & Tie Records (distributed through BMG).
The band's manager, Bob McLynn of Crush Music Media, commented on the group's signing with Razor & Tie: "I'm very happy to work on this project with Razor & Tie, a very smart company. The guys are making an amazing new record, a much different record than the first. Follow the sun."
Razor & Tie co-owners Craig Balsam and Cliff Chenfeld added: "We are so thrilled that Bob McLynn thought of us when he was looking for a home for 40 BELOW SUMMER. Besides being an amazing group of musicians with great songs, 40 BELOW SUMMER gives us another opportunity to further build on the success we are having in the rock arena with E-TOWN CONCRETE and BRAND NEW."
40 BELOW SUMMER's debut CD, 2001's "Invitation To The Dance", was recorded in Los Angeles with famed producer Garth Richardson (RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, MUDVAYNE, KITTIE).
